Hi,
it's that time again, have uploaded some nice photos and I am sure you are very happy with me (-: Yesterday, Manuel, Tobi, who travels through India and grad with us NEN little maintenance and makes the first time I really wander. I had already reported on my walk through the tea plantations, but this day are unbeatable! If that is going on at 7:30 clock and have climbed to about 16 hours and two real big mountains to the highest point and all the impressions in just one day so it gets really formative beautiful! Since we had supplied the day before with food, consisting of 6 tomatoes, some sweet toast, biscuits, cake, an onion, ne small bottle of jam, and for every 1.5 liters of water, we could already at 7.30 Clock . break Past some shops and Manuel's jogging route, we get sometimes in places that are really too good to just go past them: the never-to translucent in the morning sun shimmering green and like a puzzle by thin pavements tea fields separated from each other, out of which protrude from and to small heads and the always friendly smiling and saluting us tea pickers, which act always so relaxed, it is when they go about their work or just rumhocken and talk. Somewhere nearby was still drumming loudly and made cool music. I find that very very interesting, I mean, have beautiful landscapes and good weather, we in Germany is also sometimes, but how often do you see people just adult side of the road lying on the grass and do nothing? We wait for you, asleep, tans, relax and how to do else called so, and then something was expected of it, it tan or better Well-being, but real, "do nothing", does it somehow rarely, right? Productivity is often "overused completely" (Simpsons).
the way we have also reached a ne group of tea pickers who love us totally offered tea and we gratefully accepted of course (-:. As a European, it is often treated very nice here While this is sometimes beautiful, but somehow it is also always funny ...
The climb to the summit, which was the final meters, with two mountains really hard and not very dangerous, because it was sometimes so steep that you had to help out as at a climbing wall with his hands and I look at the the down right fear 've got. Only one false move and the story would have ended very differently. The more beautiful it was then, when we are tired, broken, sweaty, reaching red-hot, aching feet in the midday sun the summit. made the outlook and the feeling really was just to have something indescribably beautiful! You could see the entire landscape which you cross and the narrow paths which one is gone ... and just that feeling of sitting up there in the sun, surrounded by a beautiful and very soothing in the heat of wind and then the resounding silence about: Fantastic! Everyone sat there in silence. I looked down on the beautiful tea plantations and had to really smile because it was just too good.
On the way to the second peak we were on a romantic-looking ruins, and then past a small thatched hut on a mountain far away from civilization. I'm out of curiosity have a look and even though I could not imagine that there's somebody in there, say I had some fear when you enter (someone knows the movie "The Blair Witch Project"?). To my happiness and disappointment was nothing in it except a can of stagnant water, so nothing with witches, bottles full of blood, human bones, chain saws, voodoo dolls, mysterious characters, or other creepy things (-:
The second mountain I think was even higher and harder and it was very pleasant on the way back, sometimes little break in a stream and make the poor even feet in cold water, lovely! loud as we walked straight to the house where the drums came from, we waved some relaxed on the lawn in the forecourt of the house lying men, and brought us just like that time in the house and told us the secret of the music:
A elderly man had died yesterday and it was a part of the funeral ceremony to make music all day. Ok, sure I would not have come at this joyful music. We were taken into the house, we were the only guests chairs, gave us tea and then we were led into a dark back room, where many men and women had gathered. Of course I had any idea what might as well be and how I can stop DOOF sometimes I go in there calmly and see the dead grandfather with eyes still open middle of the room lie!
I had never before seen in my life a dead man and it was terrible! Oh my God! It was so disturbing and just bad for me! While Manuel and Tobi go into the room, I turn-out politeness or not-completely still on the doorstep and easily distracted by each other around and go out to get air. The walks through the beautiful landscapes were a dream, but this experience is not one.
When we finally at the foot of the mountain road had a right under the feet, even a nice gentleman came with his car, who gave us three then taken to the city later in his really cool Jeep. To top off our day we were hiking in our favorite restaurant and what have we indulged in delicious. Delicious Indian food is unbeatable, the Indians are mostly super nice, India is great and I'm glad. Yup!
